Community
Learning and Develoipment in Edinburgh provides learning opportunities to
individuals, families, interest groups and communities that
are working to improve the quality of their lives.
There are groups which cater for people returning to learning,
those who want to improve their skills for employment, those
interested in practising healthy lifestyles or those interested
in becoming involved in their local community.
We provide a full range of adult classes, including leisure
and certificated courses. We offer free tuition for people
who want to improve their reading, writing or numeracy skills.
We strive to provide inclusive educational opportunities.
Information is available on access and every effort is made
to support learners with disabilities. Free crèches
are available in many venues. A translation service for community
languages, Braille or large print format is available.
